Job Summary
CDL-A drivers based near Richmond typically run miles per week with home time every two weeks hauling dry van freight across a stable Midwest regional network serving Illinois Indiana and Wisconsin.
Pay
- $0.56$0.64 CPM depending on experience
- Average weekly earnings $1500$1600
- Driver performance bonus available
- $15 stop pay
Freight Network
- Dry van freight across Illinois Indiana and Wisconsin
- 100% no-touch freight
- Combination of drop and hook live load and live unload deliveries
- Freight lanes operate within a 500 mile radius of Chicago
Home Time
- Home every two weeks
- Consistent Midwest regional scheduling
Equipment
- Late-model Freightliner and Kenworth tractors
- Automatic and 10-speed transmissions
- Average tractor age approximately 1.5 years
- Trucks permanently assigned to drivers
- Many trucks equipped with inverter or APU
Training Program
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Minimum 120 hours completed at an accredited CDL training school
- 35 week paid training program with a company mentor
