Scope: Full Time Employed
Model: Fully Onsite
Location: Switzerland (relocation assistance provided)
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Structures Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team. This role focuses on the design of aircraft internal and external primary and secondary structures as well as the integration of interior furnishing and aircraft systems.
Responsibilities:
Design internal and external aircraft structures interior elements and integrated systems (e.g. cameras antennas equipment racks)
Prepare technical documents including reports analyses test procedures and installation instructions
Develop and maintain engineering design standards
Select appropriate materials components and equipment
Create mechanical concepts and designs for structural installations such as monument attachments ceiling structures antenna/camera mounts avionics racks wire routing and auxiliary tank installations
Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings
Work effectively with aircraft structural documentation and OEM references
Apply relevant certification requirements rules and means of compliance correctly
Job requirements
Qualifications
5 years experience working as a mechanical design engineer in aerospace - essential
Proficient in 2D/3D CAD
Bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering
