German Speaking SAP PP/DS Consultant (Freelance)

Join a global manufacturing organisation currently delivering a major SAP S/4HANA transformation where you will support the PP/DS workstream during the Realize phase of the programme. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of a scalable production planning template that will later be rolled out across multiple international sites.

Start date: ASAP
End date: 30 March 2027
Location: Mostly remote with occasional travel to Stuttgart (approx. 1 day per month)
Utilisation: 2 days per week

Languages: Fluent German and English essential

What you can expect

YOU support the implementation and optimisation of SAP PP/DS within an ongoing S/4HANA migration from ECC (brownfield approach).
YOU configure and optimise the PP/DS Optimizer for automated production sequence planning.
YOU customise the PP/DS Detailed Planning Board to support operational planning activities.
YOU analyse and resolve functional issues within PP/DS as part of system stabilisation.
YOU implement and test relevant SAP Notes for system optimisation and error resolution.
YOU ensure seamless integration between ERP and PP/DS using the SAP Core Interface (CIF).
YOU investigate and resolve integration issues related to production planning and master data.
YOU contribute to building a scalable production planning template that will later support international rollouts.

What you offer

YOU bring 7 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP PP/DS.
YOU have hands-on experience with PP/DS configuration optimisation and troubleshooting.
YOU understand integration between ERP and PP/DS including CIF processes.
YOU are comfortable analysing complex functional issues and performing debugging where required.
YOU communicate effectively with stakeholders in German and English.
YOU are able to travel occasionally to Stuttgart for key workshops or planning meetings.
