AP/HR Finance Coordinator

Location: Austin TX 100% On-Site (MondayThursday 8:00 AM 5:30 PM AND Friday 8 AM to noon)

Are you ready to wear two hats and make a big impact Were looking for an AP/HR Finance Coordinator extraordinaire to join our team in the heart of Austin Texas.

What Youll Be Doing

Accounting & Finance:

  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process code and enter high volumes of invoices (4060/day;/month) including vendor invoices employee reimbursement reports and credit card transactions.

  • Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor records e-invoice filing and ensure invoices comply with company policies.

  • Payment Processing: Assist with weekly payment runs (ACH check wire) verify due dates and support timely disbursement of funds.

  • Payroll Support (Future Responsibility): Assist with bi-weekly payroll for CA and TX locations and respond to employee inquiries.

  • Reconciliations & Month-End Support: Help with AP aging reviews vendor statement reconciliations resolve invoice discrepancies and provide AP schedules/documentation for month-end close.

Human Resources:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate job postings screen applicants schedule interviews manage background checks and assist with new hire orientation/onboarding.

  • Benefits & Compliance: Support employee inquiries regarding benefits (health disability) coordinate open enrollment and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • Employee Records & Retention: Maintain accurate paper and digital employee files and assist with HR documentation for hires terminations and changes.

  • Team player with a logical approach to problem-solving.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

  • 13 years of experience in HR administrative or bookkeeping roles.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word) and accounting software (Global Shop SAP Oracle Sage).

  • Familiarity with payroll systems (Paylocity) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
