Job Summary
ThePlastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic provides pre and post-operative evaluation and care for pediatric and adult reconstructive surgery related to body injuries and conditions burns pressure ulcer and wound closure cleft lip and palate facial and jaw injuries hand injuries head and neck tumors breast and skin cancer as well as tissue transfer/transplant. The clinic also cares for patients who have undergone transgender health surgeries such as vaginoplasty phalloplasty mastoplasty and mastectomies. This is not an elective cosmetic surgery practice.
Shifts: Monday-Friday 40 hours/week 8 hour day shifts (8a-4:30 or 8:30-5p); No weekends and paid holidays!

- Check out our benefits here: 2 years of recent RN experience required - preferably working with post-surgical patients (wounds and drains) and triage experience preferred
Applicants with an Associates degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire.BSN/MSN preferred. Must be from an accredited nursing program
Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required at time of hire
BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network acceptedAbility to role model and support practices consistent with evidenced based care function autonomously guide others with plan of care independently make clinical decisions in complex situations and proactively assist others with patient assignment.

Salary Range: Minimum 38.49/hour - Maximum 59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
