As Group Financial Manager you will play a key role in overseeing the groups financial reporting processes ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and delivering accurate consolidated financial information to support the organisations strategic objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full financial reporting function across the group ensuring accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual reporting.
Prepare and review group consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Manage and oversee the group consolidation process across multiple entities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards financial regulations and governance frameworks.
Coordinate internal and external audit processes and ensure the integrity of financial information.
Review management accounts and provide meaningful financial analysis to senior leadership.
Monitor and strengthen internal controls financial processes and reporting systems across the group.
Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes at group level.
Provide financial insights and strategic support to the executive team to support business performance and growth.
Work closely with finance teams across various business units to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
CA(SA) qualification is essential.
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
Strong experience in group financial reporting and consolidations.
Solid knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
Experience within healthcare pharmaceutical or services environments will be advantageous.
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in financial systems and MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
High levels of professionalism integrity and attention to detail.
