Job Summary

A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art ECT to join its successful Art department from September. The Role

The school is looking for an enthusiastic Art ECT who can deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills. The successful Art ECT will receive strong guidance and support through a structured induction programme.

Responsibilities of the Art ECT include:

  • Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning creative lessons covering a range of artistic techniques and media

  • Supporting students in developing coursework portfolios and creative projects

  • Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback

  • Contributing to displays exhibitions and wider Art department activities

  • Be eager to develop professionally within a supportive department
