Job Description
As a Security Officer - Radio Dispatch Security Clearance in King Of Prussia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location you will coordinate security-related responses monitor alarms and communications systems and route officers to incidents while keeping accurate logs and reports. You will be a key point of contact for employees and visitors delivering clear customer service and calm communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Operate the dispatch and communications function by monitoring alarms cameras phones radios and electronic systems and coordinating response with on-site personnel and/or local responders as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and escalating per post orders.
- Support access control activities by verifying identification managing visitor processing and communicating entry approvals and/or restrictions in accordance with site requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including building interiors and perimeter routes watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or property loss.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
