Responsibilities and Duties:
1) ULB Collaborations:
A. Support in creating overview of ULB partnerships across project location conduct outreach to
ULBs.
2) Project management:
A. Work with entrepreneurs to ensure smooth operations and bring in efficiencies. Ensure
routing of sorted waste to the appropriate and authorized end destination. Make SOPs and ensure they are implemented. Do risk assessment of any new process and inform the Manager.
B. Engage with entrepreneur and workers to gather data on field and monitor project metrics
and compliance.
C. Establish process and framework for data collection in collaboration with Sr. Project
managers- impact at the start of the project.
D. Work with project enablers and entrepreneur to communicate information from SZW related
to process improvement and report to SZW on process implementation.
E. Ensure key transfer of data to field supervisor to establish transparency of process. Engage
with entrepreneur to assist with data transfer.
F. Facilitate reporting of operational information between entrepreneur and field supervisor. Monitor the infrastructure and schedule maintenance.
G. Detailed reporting of operational performance through data illustrations and contextual
commentary to Sr. Project Manager. Periodic process review with Sr. Project Manager.
H. Monitor the compliance and demonstrate best waste management practice
I. Manage end to end of projects - from project planning to execution within
allocated budgets.
J. Good people skills with ability to conduct surveys and field work.
K. Ensure to effective delivery of project goals.
L. Regular updating of Gantt Chart and execute project activities in-line with project plan.
M. Coordination and teamwork with the various stakeholders of the project.
3) Documentation:
A. Good report writing skills and capabilities to transcribe field work.
B. Help executing Detailed Project Report (DPRs) with ULBs.
C. Generate reports regular data capture on MIS systems & traceability platform and manage
client/partner communication for the programmes.
D. Mapping of waste ecosystem and waste characterization.
E. Develop a project evaluation framework to assess the project and identify areas for
improvement.
F. Ensure timely invoicing to client payment collections and cash flow projections against the
defined project timelines.
4) Data Management & Analytics:
A. Stake holder mapping audits and material characterization.
B. To utilize the designed framework and oversee the data collection process. Data analytics to
draw constant feedback and redesign the project execution constantly.
C. Establish audit templates and oversee execution of audits being conducted across the district.
D. Take necessary measures to enable compliance as per audit requirements.
E. Design and supervise supply chain mapping for dry waste management and establish
relationships with authorized end destinations for waste.
F. Support on awareness on segregation at source and manage awareness activities and
propagation of service fee collections among waste generators.
You will perform other duties both major and minor which are not mentioned below and the specific functions may change from time to time.
