Our client a global infrastructure contractor delivering major civil and engineering projects is seeking an Assistant Contract Administrator to support the commercial team in managing contract documentation financial tracking and subcontractor coordination.
About the Role
This position supports Contract Administrators and the wider commercial team to ensure contract documentation commercial records and subcontractor administration processes are maintained efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparation and review of contract documents subcontracts and purchase orders
Maintain contract registers and document tracking systems
Support subcontractor payment assessments and progress claims
Assist with cost tracking reporting and financial reconciliation
Track and process contract variations and change requests
Verify invoices against contracts and purchase orders
Coordinate communication between project teams and subcontractors
Support documentation control and reporting processes
Assist with compliance checks including insurance and onboarding documentation
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar
Minimum 1 year experience in construction infrastructure or project administration roles
Strong organisational and administrative skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control systems
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
