Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our this pivotal role you will be responsible for maintaining our on-premises multi-tenant Exchange Server 2013 environment and leading the transition to Microsoft Cloud. You will manage our ESXi infrastructure enforce robust firewall configurations and administer Linux server environments. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver with extensive technical expertise in both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Qualifications :
- 5 years in systems administration with hands-on experience in Exchange Server 2013 ESXi infrastructure and Linux server environments.
- Expertise in Exchange Server 2013 and Microsoft cloud services.
- Strong proficiency in VMware ESXi infrastructure.
- Experience configuring and managing Next-Generation Firewalls.
- Advanced skills in Linux server administration and troubleshooting.
- Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP Microsoft Certified and CompTIA Linux are preferred but not required.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of our multi-tenant Exchange Server 2013 environment while preparing for a structured migration to Microsoft Cloud.
- Administer and optimize our ESXi infrastructure to ensure high availability scalability and performance across all virtual environments.
- Manage the Active Directory (AD) infrastructure ensuring seamless integration with existing systems enforcing security policies and maintaining user accounts and access permissions.
- Configure monitor and maintain Next-Generation Firewalls to safeguard network security and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Administer update and secure Linux server environments ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage and configure Trellix anti-malware software for endpoint protection ensuring our systems remain secure against evolving malware threats.
- Administer Windows SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for effective patch management ensuring timely updates and security compliance across Windows environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and implement a seamless transition from on-premises Exchange to Microsoft Cloud solutions.
- Implement and manage system monitoring tools to maintain system health proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
