ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for facilities maintenance aligning them with the organizations goals and objectives
- Create oversee and optimize budgets for maintenance activities seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards
- Manage and maintain an inventory of facility assets planning for replacements or upgrades as needed and ensuring the organizations assets are well-maintained
- Ensure that all facilities meet safety environmental and regulatory requirements manage permits and certifications and stay informed about industry standards
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with established service levels
- Implement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact
- Conduct regular inspections quality assessments and performance evaluations to ensure that maintenance work meets established standards
- Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents including power outages natural disasters or other crises
- Collaborate with various internal departments senior management and external stakeholders to understand their facility needs and provide timely updates on maintenance initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in facilities maintenance practices
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance
- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Experience with budget management
