Founded in 1953 Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Adjunct Instructor Addictions Counseling HV-ADJ-HUS F26
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree in Social Work Counseling or other related field from an accredited college or university and at least three years of experience in the field.
Preferred qualifications: Prior college level teaching experience preferred. CASAC and/or equivalent education and experience ability to teach on campus both day/evening if needed. Experience teaching online or hybrid courses and in person classes.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide classroom and on-line instruction in Addictions Counseling.
Evaluate student performance and complete assessments as required by the College.
Collaborate with colleagues on course and program development as well as transfer courses.
At the direction of the Department Chairperson faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary is $1523.00 per contact hour.
