Job Description
As a Security Guard Foot Patrol Clearance Required in Waynesboro VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visibly present to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow document observations and communicate clearly with staff and teammates. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through the proper chain of communication.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points noting irregular conditions and reporting them per post orders.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas within an aerospace and defense location by checking credentials directing authorized traffic and/or documenting entries as required.
- Complete required reports such as incident reports and daily activity logs and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
