We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Façade Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives in delivering innovative engineering solutions mentoring talented professionals and driving business growth through strategic initiatives.

Heres what youll do:

As a Principal Façade Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our projects team and business. Your responsibilities will include:

•  Leading the delivery of a significant portfolio of national and international projects across various sectors ensuring a balance of quality buildability program and cost.
• Developing and securing project fees negotiating contracts for projects of varying scales.
• Maintaining effective relationships with referrers and clients fostering the consideration of new business opportunities.
• Representing the company at industry events and conferences showcasing its work and capabilities.
• Developing effective proposals and leading successful pitch presentations to secure new projects.
• Mentoring a group of engineers empowering them to reach their potential and develop their skills and knowledge.
• Overseeing the professional development of engineers including appraisals chartership and other key management tasks to support the teams growth.
• Overseeing façade team resourcing to meet technical and capacity requirements while pursuing individual skill development objectives.
• Willing to be part of R&D initiatives advancing sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions.
• Collaborating with other teams within AECOM to address and advance company-wide initiatives and multidisciplinary project delivery.

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible 

Requirements:

• An architectural engineering or building design related degree
• Extensive experience in the façade industry and of dedicated façade consultancy experience.
• An ability to communicate effectively to be client-facing and to write concise and clear reports.
• A detailed understanding of system design considerations performance analysis of the systems and testing procedures.
• Experience in bidding for or supporting the winning of work.
• Knowledge of relevant façade & structural software eg. Strand 7 SJ MEPLA Therm or Flixo Autocad to use all Microsoft Office and related packages.
