What You Can Expect:

• Report alarms in accordance with client requirements and monitor cameras.
• Greet vendors customers client employees client and aid as needed.
• Conduct internal patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions hazards security violations blocked ingress and egress mechanical problems unauthorized persons inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Monitor entrance/exits and provide guidance to customers and/or vendors.
• Complete daily activity (DAR) incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems.
• Provide an atmosphere in which all customers client employees client and Management know their needs are being met.
• Present a good image to client public and Management.
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property in accordance with Asset Protection standards.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage and provides direction or information to others.
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client Company Management or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma GED OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Security Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of customers in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
• Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
• Must have Swing or Grave shift availability.
• Must be reliable accountable punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors customers client employees or client in a positive manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports and logs via handheld devices.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors public client and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client and Office Management.
• Must be able to adhere to 15 minute and lunch breaks.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Must be able to remain organized and professional.
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
• Must provide high quality customer service in-person via radio and over the telephone.
• Must be able to obtain Pueblo Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
• Must be able to attend in-person interview and in-person orientation in Colorado Springs if hired.
• Long periods of standing required.
