Florence House 2nd Shift Supervisor

Florence House one of Preble Streets Housing First programs provides comprehensive supportive services shelter and permanent housing for women 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Florence House currently has an opening for a 2^nd Shift Supervisor. As a member of the collaborative management team the Supervisors responsibilities include supervising the 2^nd shift direct service team overseeing casework activities leading program activities providing program coverage and direct services to clients and tenants and performing administrative and management tasks in support of the program.

The schedule for this position is Sunday Thursday 2pm-10:30pm.

Qualifications include a bachelors degree with 3 to 5 years relevant related experience leading a team or a comparable combination of education training and work experience. MHRT-C Certification or eligibility for certification and experience working with people experiencing homelessness and mental health and substance use disorders are also required qualifications.

Additional requirements include the ability to lead supervise and direct the work of direct service staff; strong communication de-escalation and crisis intervention skills; ability to work with and maintain professional boundaries with diverse populations; understanding of and alignment with Preble Streets mission; and commitment to providing low-barrier high-quality services to people experiencing homelessness.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $30.16 as well as generous paid time off insurance and retirement plan benefits include:

• 4 weeks (160 hours accrued) vacation time 12 days (96 hours accrued) sick time 32 hours personal time 12 Paid Holidays
