About the Role

As Teacher of English you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of contributing to KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

• Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills

• Confident extended writing through modelling structure and purposeful practice

• Secure vocabulary grammar and sentence fluency across year groups

• Exam confidence through deliberate practice feedback and clear routines

Students study a broad range of texts including novels plays poetry and non-fiction. Lessons are designed to encourage interpretation discussion and thoughtful analysis while ensuring students develop the skills required for GCSE success.
