PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provide leadership direction and support to camps principals to build their instructional and leadership capacity. Lead the development and implementation of systems taht support school improvement professional growth for district leaders and increased student achievement. Direct and oversee the districts K-12 Math program MTSS processes and instructional intervention systems to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all campuses.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Valid Texas teaching and principal certificate required
- Masters degree required
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Knowledge of curriculum instruction and state accountability systems
- In-depth knowledge of K-12 Math pedagogy curriculum internalization and instructional strategies
- Knowledge of research-based instructional strategies (RBIS) and best practices in math instruction
- Expertise in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Intervention frameworks.
- Ability to evaluate instructional programs and leadership effectiveness
- Ability to interpret data and implement processes based on trends
- Strong organizational communicationpublic relations interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of effective coaching models including (See It Name It Do It) and adult learning processes.
- Some lifting required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Prefer at least 3 years of campus or central office administrative experience preferred
