Position: Electronic Calibration Technician

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician with a strong background in electronic calibration. The selected candidate will perform calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment in both our laboratory environment and at customer sites as required.

The Electronic Calibration Technician will collaborate with team members and at times work independently. As such strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

This is a fulltime onsite position based in our Sanford FL (Orlando area) calibration laboratory. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration and verification of electrical inspection measurement and test equipment.
  • Conduct calibration activities in the laboratory and at customer facilities as needed.
  • Document calibration results accurately and maintain compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and provide technical support to customers and team members.
  • Ensure proper handling maintenance and operation of calibration equipment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to meet timelines and deliver high-quality service.


Qualifications
  • 4 years of hands-on experience in electroniccalibration including:
    • AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters oscilloscopes power meters voltage calibrators etc.
    • RF Frequency measuring and Generating Devices (spectrum analyzers frequency generators FR counters)
    • High Voltage Generating and Measuring equipment (Hipot tester Meggers Insulation testers)
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) or Associates degree technical certification or military equivalent in electronics metrology or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of testing measurement and metrology principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation schematics and calibration procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid drivers license for occasional field service work.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%to in-state customer sites
  • Position would require driving as well as flying to job sites on occasion.
  • Candidate shall be able to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands and ATS schedule; Overtime and occasional weekend work required.
  • Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds.
  • Clean driving record drug screen and background check required
