(Senior) Savory Flavorist (mfd)

• Development of new Flavors either pro-actively or based on customer projects considering the legal and/or customer requirements and in line with company policies and guidelines
• Project lead for customer and/or internal projects related to Flavor Creation
• Active participation on cross functional projects/initiatives
• Supporting the upscaling of flavors upon request
• Supporting sales and marketing with the development and execution of presentations for internal and external clients
• Customer visits upon request
• Providing technical training either for customers or internal teams
• Active participation in defining and executing innovation projects
• Support other departments on flavor creation related topics e.g. supporting QC and QM supporting and participating in sensory projects
• Staying updated about latest trends raw materials and legal changes in the area of expertise

• Expertise in developing savory flavors for various markets
• Expert knowledge in raw materials relevant to savory flavors
• Good knowledge about reaction flavors
• Very good understanding of the relevant legislations (EMEA)
• Willingness to travel (on average less than 20%)
• Good understanding of analytical data and methodologies and how to apply it for the daily work
• Good understanding of flavor relevant production methods
• Expertise in developing flavors for different encapsulation technologies
• German language skills are an advantage.
