The Role:
We are currentlyseekingan experienced and versatile New Product Introduction Engineer to join our this role your primary responsibility will be to drive successful qualificationsand startup ofproductsandensure readiness for mass production at ourKaohsiung Science Park-SouthManufacturing Site. The products wouldeitherbetransferred from other existing facilities ornew productsutilizinga Stage Gate Process from Development to Manufacturing stage.
You will use your skills/experience to influence product design teams to improve design for manufacturability while ensuring the highest levels of quality. Achieving this goal will require the use of collaboration influence and individual skills to interface with all functions across the organization.
The NPI Engineer will work closely with theProcess EngineeringteamProduction cellteamand other functional teams to ensure Manufacturing Readiness of the new product portfolio. You will engage with theProcessengineers Manufacturing Engineers Production Supervisors Operators and any othernecessary personnel to drive the successfulproduct qualification and transition to mass production.
With the fast pace of innovations in semiconductors you willbe expected to managemultiple projects across the product portfolio.

In this role you will:
Lead or serve asone ofcoreteam membersforassignednew product developmentprojects as the liaison between Development Engineering and Operations pulling products to market.
Lead product transferworking withmultipleteams/sites to ensureproduct performance is equal to POR.
Develop Manufacturing Plans for assigned projects. Topics includeselectionof manufacturingsite raw and finished goods material planning chemical/waste plan ramp/capacity planning cost roadmap etc.Also work closely with Development Engineering to proactively influence product and process design for better manufacturability.
Manage customer sampleproductionworkingwith Operations teamand Development teamto provide special instructions as.
Lead planning and executing product qualificationbased on risk assessmentfrom DFMEA and PFMEA
Become familiar with equipment for mass production ensure production lineis capableof producingthe products at manufacturing level.
Monitor the production at pilot phase leadingtoresolvethe issues to ensure a smooth transition to highvolumemanufacturing phase.
Prepare Process Documentation to support Product Launch.
Drive Improvement Projects (yield process capability etc.) to maximize Gross Margin and Predictabilityas part of Operation team.

Experience leading Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement Manufacturing projects and implementation.
Experiencesand skills in statistical analysis
Capability or experience in using English language inprofessional occasions. Capable in Japanese language will beconsidered a plus.
Bachelors Degree in related technical discipline. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.
Must have5yearsrelated experience.
Clearawarenessof safety and qualitytopics familiar with related ISO regulations.
