Job Summary

Sidney Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for a Secondary Social Science Teacher with an emphasis in Career Education Psychology and Socialogy for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will focus on helping students understand human behavior societal systems and career pathways while building the skills necessary for success in college careers and life.

Applicants should possess or be able to obtain a valid Nebraska teaching certificate prior to Public Schools is a progressive and student centered school district located in Western Nebraska along the I-80 corridor 90 miles east of Cheyenne Wyoming. The applicant must have a growth-minded disposition that reflects the desire to build capacity for all learners the capability to implement research-based best practices along with the knowledge to interpret data to make informed instructional decisions for the benefit of student achievement and success.
