Position Overview:
Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is seeking a creative motivated and detail-oriented Summer Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team as a summer intern working 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship. This on-site opportunity offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment where design storytelling and community impact intersect. The intern will support the creation of visual assets used across marketing campaigns internal communications community outreach events and digital platforms. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or emerging designer to gain real-world experience build a strong portfolio and contribute to meaningful mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and support the development of marketing and communication materials including flyers posters social media graphics presentations signage and digital assets
Assist with branding and campaign initiatives across service lines events and community programs
Adapt and resize creative assets for print web social media and internal use
Collaborate with marketing team members on creative concepts and execution
Ensure all materials align with brand standards and visual guidelines
Support special projects and time-sensitive requests as needed
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Graphic Design Visual Communications Marketing or related program
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator required)
Strong understanding of layout typography color and visual hierarchy
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Interest in healthcare public service or mission-driven organizations is a plus
