Job Description:

Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Process Technician.

This position will be based in Jurong Island Singapore.

As a Process Technician you will:

Accountable for the safe operations of the process plant. Specific responsibilities include:

To operate the plant process and utilities unit safely and efficiently to manufacture quality products in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.

To fill the role of a permit checker for the Safe Work Permit system.

To carry out plant routine logging in a timely manner and report of any abnormality.

Promptly respond to DCS alarm and out of control values to maintain safe and reliable operation in the plant.

Collect process samples and carry out water titration analysis in a timely manner as stipulated in the SOP.

Carry out routine preventive tasks as per schedule and provide quality work

Carry out plant shutdown and start-up activities safely to meet production schedules.

Carrying out process lines or system preparation to ensure that it is properly clean and LOTO before handing over to maintenance.

Involve in punch listing and checking activities during plant mechanical completion.

Response to plant emergency as member of the Emergency Response team.

What skills and experiences are we looking for

Min. Technical education in chemical processing.

Preferably have experience working in petrochemical or refinery industry.

Training will be provided for those without experiences.
