Barista (Part-Time)

If you have a passion for crafting exceptional drinks and providing outstanding service to guests we want you to be part of our team! As a Barista youll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while working in a newly renovated and lively environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greet all guests according to StepStone and hotel standards anticipate and address guests needs assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
• Follow health safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Handle closing of guest transactions in outlet and room services close out register and balance out cash for shift as well as keeping cash funds always secured.
• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools cleaning all equipment and areas.
• Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
• Set up stock and maintain work areas.
• Check with guests to ensure guest service and food quality are satisfactory and up to StepStone and hotel standards.
• Notify the manager immediately of any guest complaints.
• Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
• Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
• Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Ability to accurately use POS system.

• One (1) year of barista experience is a plus.
• Must be available to flexible shifts.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• Must have a knowledge of applicable Federal state and local health safety and legal regulations.
• Must have excellent mathematical and computer skills.
• High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.
• Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
• CPR training and first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.
