JobOverview:
willbe responsible forusing specialized welding equipment to join metal components byapplyingpressureandelectricalcurrenttoformastrongbondbetweenmetalsurfaces. The idealcandidate shouldhave athorough understandingofspotweldingprinciplesbe abletooperatespotweldingmachineseffectivelyandpossessgoodattentiontodetailto ensure the quality of welded components.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Operatespotweldingmachinestojoinmetalcomponentsaccordingtospecifications.
- Positionandalignworkpiecescorrectlytoensurepreciseandaccuratespotwelds.
- Adjustweldingparameterssuchascurrenttimeandpressurebasedonmaterial thickness and type.
- Conductqualitychecksonspotweldstodetectanydefectsorimperfections.
- Maintainspotweldingequipmentbyperformingregularinspectionsand necessarymaintenance.
- Collaboratewithteammemberstoensuresmoothproductionworkflowand meet production targets.
- Adheretosafetyguidelinesandalwayswearappropriatepersonalprotective equipment(PPE).
- Reportanyequipmentmalfunctionsorproductionissuestothesupervisor.
PreferredQualifications:
Candidatemusthavesomeorallofthefollowingeducational/technicalrequirements:
- ProvenexperienceasaSpotWelderorinasimilarweldingrole.
- Proficiencyinspotweldingtechniquesandtheabilitytooperatespotweldingmachines.
- Familiaritywithdifferentmetalsandtheirweldingcharacteristics.
Preferredskillsandabilities:
Candidatemusthavesomeorallofthefollowingskillsandabilities:
- Goodunderstandingofweldingparametersandtheirimpactonspotweldquality.
- Attentiontodetailandtheabilitytoperformqualitychecksonspotweldseffectively.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturingenvironment.
- Strongadherencetosafetyprotocolsandprocedures.
