Job Description
As a Security Officer - Mobile Rounds in Longboat Key FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms access concerns and service requests. You will document activity communicate clearly with visitors and staff and escalate issues with professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors staff and contractors by following site-specific procedures access requirements and other security-related protocols at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances gates and restricted areas verifying identification and/or authorization and directing visitors to the proper check-in process.
- Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and shift documentation and communicate significant updates to the next shift and/or site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
