Pipe Foreman Heavy Civil/Sitework (South Atlanta GA)

Lead underground utility crews on heavy civil and turnkey site development projects supporting the installation of storm drainage sanitary sewer and water systems. The Pipe Foreman is responsible for daily field execution crew leadership safety compliance productivity and quality control in accordance with contract documents and project plans.

This role works closely with the Pipe Superintendent and Project Management to ensure work is completed safely efficiently and in alignment with schedule and budget objectives.

What Youll Do

• Lead and work alongside pipe crews in the installation of storm sewer and water systems
• Interpret and execute work according to construction plans and specifications
• Oversee trenching bedding pipe placement backfilling compaction and utility installation activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards including excavation and trench protection requirements
• Maintain daily production goals and support schedule adherence
• Inspect job sites throughout the day to identify and address potential safety or quality issues
• Coordinate with the Pipe Superintendent and Project Management regarding progress and field conditions
• Complete and submit daily reports and documentation as required
• Operate or assist with equipment as needed to support crew productivity
• Promote accountability teamwork and high workmanship standards within the crew
• Maintain clean organized and safe job sites

What Were Looking For

• 5 years of experience as a Pipe Foreman in heavy civil or site development construction
• Strong knowledge of underground utility installation (storm sewer and water)
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and utility profiles
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a hands-on field leadership role
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Commitment to safety quality and production standards
• Valid drivers license required
• Must pass drug screening
• Experience operating construction equipment preferred
