AKIRA is excited to announce an opening for a Modelling Application role within our Modelling department in Chicago. This part-time on-site position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic apparel and fashion industry while contributing to our innovative projects.
As a Modelling Application team member you will engage in various tasks that support the development and presentation of our latest fashion lines. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the fashion industry as you will gain valuable experience working closely with our creative teams.
We offer a competitive salary range of $2500 - $4000 weekly along with a vibrant work environment that fosters creativity and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and execution of modelling sessions
- Collaborate with designers and photographers to capture the essence of our fashion lines
- Help maintain an organized wardrobe of clothing and accessories
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for upcoming projects
- Support the marketing team in promotional events and campaigns
- Ensure timely and efficient set-up and breakdown of modelling equipment
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude during all sessions
- Stay updated with fashion trends to contribute to team discussions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interest in fashion and modelling
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Prior experience in modelling or fashion is a plus but not required
