The Role:
Entegris is investing in a newstate of the artmanufacturing facility in Taiwan. We arelooking for a dynamicversatileengineerwhowillbe responsible for acquiring custom equipment needed to support our New Product Introductions. This process includes project management specification development vendor selection designprocurementvalidation and commissioningofmanufacturingequipment.
With the fast pace of innovations in semiconductors you must be abletointeract with staffin all functions to deploy assets to add capacity replace older machines meet New Product Introductionrequirementand improve quality.
We expect that youll collaborate share andwork as ateam that partners closely withall stakeholders.
After HVMto maintainproduction assets run as good conditions and assist for future upgrade/improve as needed.
In this role you will:
Engage with a variety of stakeholders includingFacilities and EHS Procurement R&D Maintenance and Reliability Controls Engineering and Operations personnelinthe entire processdevelopmentto commissioning and qualification.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM)Design for Maintenance and Reliability (DfMR)HAZOP Riskassessmentand FMEAtobuilda best-in-class equipment for manufacturing facility in Taiwan.
Use a variety of inputs to develop a coherent specification document that clearly defines all aspects of the project.
Developand manageproject plans tocomplete within schedule budget and quality constraints.
Use core project management principles and techniques to report progress to Management team.
Use CAD to design equipment/subcomponents and source/create fixtures to enable the assets to be used for a variety of form factors and process flows.
Work with Engineers Maintenance and Reliability personnel and Operations to define PM programs (including spares inventories frequency and timingandetc.) for new assets.
Use current floor layouts and new asset specifications to work with stakeholders to optimize the asset within the context of the Manufacturing cell area.
Assist with classic New Product/Process Engineering responsibilities if the business dictates. This would include troubleshooting failure analysis SPCQuality andYield improvement.
Provide guidance and support to teammates to complete all assigned task.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Bachelor/masters degree in mechanical/electricalengineering.
5 years of working experience in the engineering field in production environment.
Experience inProject management mechanical design and development.
Knowledge ofPDCARisk analysisFMEA DFMDfMRHAZOP DMAIC.
Experience in equipment/process monitoring by SPC
Familiar with CAPEX and CEA submission process
Prior experience with components manufacturing and assembly or cleaning equipment is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft applicationforwriting technicalreportand documentation of procedures change control and technical specification.
Experience intechnical drawing and use ofCADor modellingtoolsis a plus.
Ability toprovide guidance and support to teammates.
Excellent communicationand interpersonalskill.
