Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Field Patrol in Greensboro NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support staff patients and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and you will respond to calls for assistance document activity and communicate clearly while working with a team that is agile reliable innovative and guided by integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including dispatching assistance coordinating with hospital personnel and contacting local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at designated entrances and restricted areas verify identification and/or authorization and maintain visitor management processes in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete detailed incident reports daily activity logs and other required documentation and communicate notable observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police training program or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have 2 years law enforcement military and/or corrections experience.
- Hold a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
