Job Summary
Job Title: Host / Hostess (Part-Time)
Location: Dockside Bar & Grill
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time (Evenings Weekends and Holidays)

Dockside Bar & Grill is a fast-paced waterfront restaurant known for great food friendly service and a fun atmosphere. Our team works together to create a welcoming experience for every guest from the moment they walk through the door.
Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly organized and energetic Host / Hostess to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests the host plays a key role in setting the tone for a great dining experience.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and welcome them to the restaurant
Manage the wait list and seating rotation for servers
Escort guests to tables and provide menus
Answer phone calls and assist with basic guest inquiries
Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
Communicate with servers and management to ensure smooth service
Thank guests as they leave and invite them back
Qualifications
Friendly and positive attitude
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and punctual
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful but not required
