Service Supervisor Requirements:

  • Outgoing and approachable personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced technician
  • Strong understanding of technician dispatching and shop workflow
  • Comfortable training and leading a team
  • Confident strong problem solver
  • Positive upbeat energy
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Team focused mindset
  • Consistent and reliable
  • Career minded
  • Valid drivers license

Service Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Follow our processes and hold the team accountable to them
  • Effectively lead coach mentor and manage service advisors to help them grow
  • Provide ongoing training to service department personnel
  • Evaluate performance recognize accomplishments and hold 1-on-1 meetings with team members
  • Motivate and encourage service staff members to reach their full potential
  • Maintain above average customer service scores for the department
  • Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Retain current service customers and encourage repeat business
  • Manage technician dispatching and shop workflow
  • Collaborate with other departments in the dealership to accomplish common goals
  • Other duties as required
