Job Description
As a Security Officer - Facility Rounds Patrol in Oakland CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-visibility government transportation location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols stay present to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations communicate clearly with visitors and staff and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of platforms concourses entrances parking areas and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.
- Monitor access points and assist with directing pedestrian traffic verifying identification and/or credentials when required and supporting orderly entry to restricted areas per post orders.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public authorities as directed.
- Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports incident reports and patrol logs and communicate noteworthy conditions to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
