Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-orientedCashierto support our dealerships sales and service departments. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions operate our point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is key to maintaining smooth financial operations and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process cash credit debit check and other payment transactions using the POS system.
- Greet customers and escort them through checkout for vehicle purchases service payments parts purchases and other financial transactions.
- Ensure correct pricing calculate totals and issue receipts refunds and change.
- Reconcile cash drawer at beginning and end of shifts; balance daily transaction records.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and support front-desk operations as needed.
- Collaborate with Sales Service and Finance teams to support seamless customer experiences.
Core Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous cashier retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong cash handling and POS transaction skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
