The Group has also established an MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) facility in Gurugram to provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to Indian airlines and support the growth of the local aviation industry.

We are looking for a Technical leader to develop platform SW for our next generation Avionics systems.

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and hands-on development expertise in device driver development Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and safety-critical software processes. This role involves guiding a development team ensuring adherence to DO-178C standards and driving the successful delivery of certification-ready software components.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience (8-12 years) in embedded software development using C language.
  • Strong knowledge of device driver development and hardware interfaces (e.g. ARINC-429 Flash memory Ethernet PCI etc.).
  • Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (e.g. VxWorks FreeRTOS ThreadX) and multitasking concepts.
  • Hands-on experience of DO-178C certification processes artifacts and objectives.
  • Understanding of safety-critical software design practices and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design development integration and maintenance of embedded software components for Avionics computers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team to ensure high-quality and efficient software delivery.
  • Implement and optimize device drivers and middleware layers on RTOS-based systems.
  • Conduct and lead design & code reviews to ensure compliance with DO-178C standards.
  • Collaborate closely with safety hardware and system engineering teams to meet certification and project objectives.
