Job Summary
About the position
Petrolink Support is looking for an experiencedEnvironment Advisor to follow-up of relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities for our client in Stavanger.
Contract location: Stavanger Norway.
Key information
Tasks
Typical work tasks will be
Responsible for follow-up of relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities
Contribute to relevant risk- and chemical assessments
Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts
Support in government correspondence
Provide consulting in energy management and emission reduction
Responsible for internal/external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters
Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners
Qualifications
We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:
Requires relevant higher university degree
Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience
Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
Requires extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments
The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices Companys needs and general business conditions
Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
