HSE Engineer I

As a HSE Engineer 1 here at Honeywell you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety health and environmental responsibility within the organization. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the well-being of employees ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting sustainability.

You will report directly to our HSE Manager and youll work out of our South Bend Indiana location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will impact our business by ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees customers and the environment. Your contributions will not only protect our people and assets but also enhance our reputation as a responsible and sustainable organization.

• Assist in developing and implementing HSE strategies that align with the organizations mission ensuring a culture of safety health and environmental responsibility.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and contribute to the development of preventive measures.
• Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents including accidents and environmental emergencies.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics.
• 1 years of experience in HSE engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
• Experience with HSE management systems and compliance tools.
