Job Summary
Qualifications
Spanish-English bilingual speaker with a high degree of fluency in both languages. Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence ( CCC - SLP ) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association ( ASHA ). Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience as a practicing speech-language pathologist. Demonstrated experience conducting dynamic assessments of pediatric speech sound disorders with at least three (3) patients. Prior experience administering assessment tasks via telepractice with at least three (3) patients. Previous experience conducting bilingual speech-language assessments with at least three (3) patients.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the administration of the Dynamic Evaluation of Motor Speech Skill ( DEMSS ) in addition to other dynamic assessment tasks Experience in the differential diagnosis of childhood apraxia of speech from dysarthria and other speech sound disorders Completion of advanced clinical training in the assessment of pediatric motor speech disorders including CAS (at least 2 workshops dedicated to this topic)
