Security Officer Perimeter Patrol

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Saint Helena CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control respond to alarms and/or badge activity and use a computer or tablet to document observations and communicate clearly. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel drivers and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct routine and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas warehouses offices parking lots and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and manage entry processes including checking identification issuing visitor credentials maintaining logs and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports and perform basic monitoring of cameras and/or other site systems in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
