Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Boiler/Compressor Mechanic to support the operation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of boiler systems air compressors and related mechanical equipment at an onsite government installation. This roleis responsible forhelping ensure the safe reliable and efficient performance of critical utility and mechanical systems in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install inspectmaintain troubleshoot and repair boilers air compressors pumps valves piping regulators gauges dryers and related mechanical equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler and compressed air systems to reduce downtime and support uninterrupted site operations.
  • Monitor system performanceidentifymechanical issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect fittings controls pressure vessels safety devices and auxiliary equipment for proper function and compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnose failures in mechanical systems and replace worn or defective parts usingappropriate tools testing equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Support start-up shutdown and operational checks of boilers compressors and associated systems.
  • Maintainaccuratemaintenance records inspection logs and service documentation.
  • Follow all applicable safety environmental and facility procedures including lockout/tagout and other industrial maintenance protocols.
  • Coordinate with facility operations maintenance and engineering personnel to support site requirements and resolve equipment issuesin a timely manner.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in boiler compressor or industrial mechanical maintenance.
  • Applicable certifications or licenses in the respective field or line of work.
  • Working knowledge of boilers air compressors pressure systems pumps valves and mechanical control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics blueprints and maintenance instructions.
  • Experience performing troubleshooting preventive maintenance and repair in an industrial or mission-critical environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-safetyenvironment.
  • Ability to lift equipment/tools work in mechanical spaces and perform physically demanding maintenance tasks asrequired.
  • Ability to obtain andmaintainrequired installation/base access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting government military industrial manufacturing or other secure facilities.
  • Familiarity with compressed air dryers pressure vessels steam or hot water systems and mechanical utility infrastructure.
  • OSHA boiler operator/mechanic HVAC/mechanical or similar industry certifications.
  • Experience working in environments with strict safety access and operational requirements.
  • Secret clearance or prior eligibility for military installation access preferred.
