SUMMARY: Removes excess metal from airfoil contour and polishes surface; grinds excess metal from root shelves and other areas of castings; polishes and blends radii; moves product from one area to another; sand blast parts to specific procedures; performs other related duties as determined by their Supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Position requires high school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one year manufacturing experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating instructions and procedures. Ability to communicate production information both in writing and verbally.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several airfoil casting variables in standardized situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATION: Regular attendance and the ability to work weekday and weekend overtime.
