Working Student (d/m/w) in Information Technology

You are a full time student looking for a working student position Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in DOF as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!

• Duration:8 months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least 18.53 per hour depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education and who are employed in a reasonably long fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the companys premises. A working students main focus remains on their studies which is why during term-time working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Assist with the development implementation and maintenance of IT systems and applications and participate in IT project management tasks including planning execution and monitoring.
• Support data analysis and reporting activities to derive insights and improve digital processes.
• Contribute to the testing and quality assurance of new software and digital tools.
• Support the creation of documentation for IT processes systems and user guides and assist in troubleshooting IT issues and providing technical support to users.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and digital trends relevant to Airbus.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student (d/m/w) in Computer Science Information Technology Digital Business or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT systems software development or data management.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Python Java C#) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken).
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
