KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Supervision and Management
- Supervise coordinate and schedule employee activities
Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety policies
Establish efficient work methods to meet deadlines
Resolve work-related issues and recommend improvements
Ensure the availability of required materials and supplies
Prepare required reports
Participate in employee training and skills development
Approve work hours leave requests and collaborate with the payroll department
Enforce company policies and the collective agreement
Conduct performance evaluations
Perform when required the same duties as employees under their supervision
Electrical Compliance and Certifications
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards (CSA UL ETL) in production activities
Maintain oversight of the internal system related to certifications and compliance label control
Coordinate required inspections and collaborate with external auditors when needed
Provide support and guidance to employees regarding electrical best practices
Ensure testing equipment is functional and compliant with requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
Bilingual (French English)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Strong organizational skills autonomy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Availability to work outside normal hours when required
Assets:
Basic electrical knowledge or experience in a manufacturing environment
Positive leadership and ability to mobilize a team
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
