Job Description

As a valued member of the TFC Development Coaching Team you will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality on-field soccer programming at TFC BMO Summer Camp.

Responsibilities:

• Plan develop and execute age-appropriate soccer drills and training sessions

• Lead and assist with on-field technical development (dribbling passing shooting defending small-sided games etc.)

• Organize and manage daily games and scrimmages

• Provide instruction feedback and encouragement to participants of various ages and abilities

• Support daily camp operations including participant check-in/out and overall camper supervision

• Maintain a safe inclusive and positive camp environment

• Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies

• Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act

• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Background Check

• Must be available for TFC BMO Summer Camp:

• Energetic and charismatic personality energy is what makes our staff special

• Self-motivated and professional

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Previous experience coaching or playing soccer is an asset

• Previous experience as a camp counsellor or youth leader is an asset

• Background in Physical Education Teaching or Supervisory roles is an asset
