About the role

Calvary Home Care are seeking Enrolled Nurse to work in and around the Darwin area. You will be looking after our home care package clients from level 1 to 4.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical/nursing duties as delegated by the Registered Nurse and/or requested by Service Coordinator.
  • Work within the professional and legal boundaries pertaining to an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Maintain clinical skills by participating in training programs as required mandatory training such as First Aid annual CPR and manual handling.
  • Liaise with the Registered Nurse General Practitioner and/or carers re clients well-being and report immediately any concerns re clients status

What you bring

  • AHPRA Registration current
  • 1 years Minimum experience of working in the community as a nurse or in residential aged care nursing.
  • Full Drivers Licence and Own Car with Insurance
  • Effective communication interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Initiative and the desire to continually improve client care
  • Capability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set timeframes
  • Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably
  • Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
  • NDIS Clearanceor willingness to obtain one
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
