Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wichita KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location you will complete routine mobile patrols and visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents respond to alarms and/or concerns and provide clear professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Control access points by monitoring entrances verifying credentials where required and directing visitors deliveries and contractors according to site procedures.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation communicate observations to site management and assist with investigations by preserving notes and available evidence per policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
