As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Shift in South San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as an unarmed Patrol Officer monitoring assigned areas conducting routine patrols and staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control document observations and communicate clearly with tenants visitors and property staff while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants employees visitors and/or vendors by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and applicable emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors common areas loading dock areas and/or parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe alarms cameras and/or other security-related systems; report suspicious activity maintenance concerns and/or policy violations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation contacting emergency services when appropriate and completing required notifications.
• Document patrol activity incidents and observations in detailed reports and communicate significant updates to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
