Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Guidewire Claim Center Developer with a strong Java background and extensive experience leading teams driving production support and managing complex incidents. This role requires deep technical expertise in Guidewire Claim Center hands-on development skills across modern integration and DevOps toolsets and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders end users and technical teams. The candidate will design develop integrate and support solutions across the Guidewire ecosystem and surrounding enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities Guidewire Claim Center Development & Ownership Lead the implementation configuration and ongoing maintenance of Guidewire Claim Center.
Develop and maintain custom components using Gosu.
Support and resolve production incidents to ensure minimal business impact.
Stakeholder Coordination & Requirements Work directly with business stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and provide timely updates.
Translate business requirements into scalable maintainable technical solutions.
Participate in business and functional requirements sessions.
Integration & Application Development Design develop and implement SOAP/REST web services.
Work with API Gateway / Apigee for API management and integrations.
Utilize Java Spring Boot and Kafka/messaging systems in application development.
Monitor and support batch jobs and integrations with external third-party systems.
DevOps CI/CD and Containerization Utilize Git for source code management with best practices in branching and version control.
Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Use CI/CD and deployment tools such as:
Concourse
Harness
Docker Registry
GitHub Actions
Work with YAML configurations across deployment workflows.
Monitoring Logging & Support Configure and manage monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk and New Relic.
Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across supported environments.
Drive defect walkthroughs RCA and knowledge transfer sessions.
Documentation & Technical Leadership Analyze and prepare technical and functional specification documents.
Ensure adherence to software development testing and deployment best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Participate in KT sessions and help uplift team competency.
